How to Register: Online Registration

Divisions: filled on 1st come basis.

Coed 6s: WE WILL HAVE 3 SEPARATE DIVISIONS

·         AA -Power division for higher-level skilled players

·         A/B:  intermediate and novice level players

·         B/Rec: for novice level players

·         Two divisions will be held if we get 5 teams for each division. Otherwise all teams will play in one division. Be sure to list your division when you register

Coed 4s King of the Beach

·         Register online at www.eevb.net/reg  Pairs are accepted on the basis of their entries into the registration system

·         Players register as a coed pair.

·         Coed pairs are matched with other coed pairs in a rotational schedule that lets you play with 4 other pairs during pool play. (The schedule/pool sheet can be viewed online at http://www.eevb.net/Kingofbeachcoed4s.htm)

·         At the conclusion of pool play the top 6 pairs are grouped into permanent 4-player teams for a single elimination playoff.

·         Prizes are awarded to the top 2 teams (4 pairs) after the playoffs

·         We are only accepting 8 pairs per session. There has to be an even # of pairs to make this work properly.

·         Entry fee is $50/pair ($25/player)

·         Divisions:

a.       Div. 2: For tournament A & B division doubles or league competitive 6s players

b.      Div 1: for AA and open level tournament players

 

Format: Round robin pool play, followed by single elim, playoffs in all divisions; 2 games to 25 points rally scoring

Coed 6-player teams (min. 2 females on court at all times; teams may start/play with only 1 female but will forfeit 3 points/game); 8 player maximum total roster (maximum 7 prizes per team).

Times: Check in at 8:30, 1st match at 9 am

Prizes: Awarded to top 2 teams in each division, maximum 6 prizes per team

AVPNext Memberships: $10/player if done online; required of all players. Membership covers 1 calendar year from 1/1 to 12/31. Register for AVPNext online registration online then bring your new membership confirmation email to the registration table

Tournament Day Procedures: (Online Roster save roster to your hard drive for future use. Fill out and email it to eevb@I-2000.com)

1. Team captain hands in completed roster before 1st match.
2. Team captain hands in AVPNext registrations for all players before 1st match begins.
3. Follow schedule for games to be played & worked. Teams will be notified in advance about 1st game starts & work assignments. Late teams will forfeit 1 point per minute. Late work teams will forfeit 1 point per minute up to 5 points towards their 1st game & will be required to work 1st game of playoffs (or later playoff game if they are in 1st playoff game).

4. All work teams must supply up & down refs, 2 linesmen, & scorekeeper. Bring your own whistle if you do like sharing a community whistle
5. Losing teams in playoffs must work next playoff match. Any team leaving before fulfilling final work assignment will be charged $5/player before being allowed into another tournament.
6. Attendance at post-tournament player’s party at Mohegan Sun is mandatory!
7. Tournament director reserves right to make changes in these procedures as deemed necessary.
