Town of Southampton E. Quogue Volleyball Leagues:

                     

How to Register:

1.     Download roster and email to eevb@i-2000.com (very important so that we have a record to balance against the Town’s record)

2.     Print copy of roster and mail with $295 payment to Town of Southampton Parks & Recreation Department, 6 Newtown Rd, Hampton Bays, NY 11946. Make check payable to Town of Southampton. Credit cards can also be used to pay for entry fee. Include the credit card #, exp. date, name on the card, phone # and amount that should be charged on a separate letter with your roster.

3.    Fee is for Town of Southampton residents. Players who are not Town of Southampton Residents will be charged $10 extra per player

4.     AVPNext memberships (mandatory for all players). All players must be AVPNext members, the grass roots program of the AVP Pro Volleyball Tour @ annual $10/player fee. Register for AVPNext online

Southampton Town Parks Department

Times: 6 pm until dark. (The first 2 full teams that arrive at the net play the 1st match of the night. If 2 teams are not ready to play by 6:30, then the 2 teams listed first on the schedule will start playing even if they are shorthanded).

Fee: $295

Divisions: 2s and 3s are for higher skilled players with tournament level abilities. 4s for intermediate to competitive players (teams can be any gender from 4 males to 4 females). Competitive sixes (C6s, coed with a 2:1 M:F ratio) are for intermediate level players. Recreational sixes (R6s, coed with a 2:1 M:F ratio) are for beginning players. Teams may be moved between divisions during season based on record and captain's requests, subject to league director's discretion. Power Men’s 4s & Power Women’s 4s: For highest level league players, teams are all male or all female. Junior Info

Prizes: Awarded to top 4 teams in every division based on final standings except 3s, which have playoffs. Separate prizes awarded at League Championship Tournament September 15 at Cedar Beach

Format: Teams will be assigned to a net each night and will play against the other teams assigned to that net. The final winning team each night will return the completed schedule & results to the league director. It is the responsibility of each winning team to make sure that the scores are entered properly on the schedule sheet. Last losing team each night must bring in boundary ropes.

Doubles Tournament Discount: League players may compete in any weekend tournament (Men or Women’s B on Sat., Coed B on Sundays) for $10/player. Participate in tournament play every weekend all summer long.

Directions: Tiana Beach- Rt. 27 (Sunrise Hwy.), east to exit 65, left at Diner onto Montauk Hwy (Rt 27A), right onto Ponquogue Ave, left on Shinnecock Rd, right on Foster Ave. Go over bridge, make right on Dune Rd., 2 miles to Tiana Beach

Championships: All R4s, C4s and 6s teams will play off at the Miller Lite Long Island Beach Volleyball Championships Sept. 13 at Cedar Beach, Babylon Teams with player overlap in 2 EEVB leagues or short players may combine for championships subject to EEVB approval. All teams are encouraged to attend league championship party. Do not miss this fun final day of the beach volleyball season! Including the 13th Annual Miller Lite Float Walkathon.

Team names: Will be assigned by EEVB. Leagues are partially funded by local businesses that lend their name to our program.
