New For 2010: 2010 tournaments will be run in cooperation with Great American Volleyball. This will make it better for players by having 1 big event twice a summer that everyone can come do. We hope you like this change.

Times: Saturday check in at 8 to 8:30 am, Sunday check in 9 to 9:30 am, play to 6 pm

Site: at Jenkinson’s Inlet Pavilion, north end of beach

Divisions: Divisions in red will offer prize money (prize money listed on Upcoming Events page)

Sat: MO, WO, MAA, MA, MB, WAA, WA, WB

Sun: CO, CA, CB

Sunday Special: 4-player division on Sunday 8/22

Prize Money Breakdown

Notes: Divisions with less than 8 teams may be merged with other divisions at tournament director’s discretion

Merged divisions will still have playoff for Grand Prix pts. MO, MAA, MA, MB, WO, WAA, WA all receive EEVB Grand Prix Pts.

Prizes awarded to top 4 teams in each division (3 teams in divisions with less than 8 teams

 

Format: Pool play, followed by single elimination playoffs

Fees:    NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED ON BEACH

$60 All teams

Men’s & Women’s Open $100 Aug. 23-22

Juniors $15/player

AVPNext Memberships:

$10/player if done online

$15 if done at the beach

Required of all players

Membership covers 1 calendar year from 1/1 to 12/31, AVPNext online registration

 

Directions:       Enter 1 Broadway Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 into Mapquest for a map to site)

Directions to Jenkinson’s Pavilion: Take the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 98. Follow Route 34 South to Route 35 South. Cross the Manasquan Inlet Bridge and stay in the left lane. Make the left jug handle turn a ¼ mile after the Exxon. Complete the turn and head North on Route 35 and make a right onto Broadway (last right before going over bridge). Take Broadway all the way to the end and to the parking lot on the ocean.

Hotel:               Search online for hotels in Pt. Pleasant, NJ area. EEVB staff stays at the Econo Lodge in Farmingdale, about 15 minutes away and the lowest priced hotel in the area
