Schedule/Location: Each night is a separate
program with separate fees

Cedar
Beach in Town of Babylon Tuesday evenings

Quogue: Tuesday
evenings
2.
Time: 6:15 pm until sunset.
3.
Dates: June 16 – August 18 (10 weeks)
4.
Ages: 8 to 18 (open to anyone under
18 up to the summer before they enter their senior year in high school)
5.
Divisions:
a.
8-10 years old: beginner (Cedar only)
b.
11-13: very basic volleyball skills
c.
14-18 years old: more advanced
d.
Players will be broken up mostly by skill level. Ages
are used mainly as a starting point to break players into groups.
6.
Details:
a.
The goal of the program is to teach players basic volleyball skills in a
non-competitive environment. Any games played will be without scoring to avoid
placing too much pressure on winning and to place focus on performing
b.
All divisions will have coaches teaching players the basic skills. The
first part of the evening will include a coaching session followed by organized
games for players to practice their new skills.
c.
Players may be moved during the season as their skills improve.
d.
League will be run on lower nets to allow players to learn spiking and blocking
skills as well as serving and defensive skills.
e.
Main coaches will have high school and college level coaching experience.

games and to learn from league’s coaches

Fee covers entry into 1 league: Tuesday @

8.
Additional costs:
a.
Mandatory AVPNext Memberships (Required for all players): $10/player if done online. Membership
covers 1 calendar year from 1/1 to 12/31. (Teams will not be placed on the
schedule until all players have the #. If players do not have# by the first
night they will be charged the $15 pay at the beach charge and the team will
not be on the schedule until the following week. SO PLEASE DO IT ONLINE AND
SAVE EVERYONE A LOT OF HASSLE. THANKS.)
i. ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE AVPNEXT #’s before the 1st night of
the league

iii. AVPNext in the grass roots organization of the AVP
Pro Beach Volleyball Tour. They promote beach volleyball throughout the US. All
of our players help out by becoming members and contributing $10 per year
membership to help with that cause.

Obtain child’s membership # click AVPNext . The # will be
sent to EEVB, save the emailed confirmation for your records
