Times: Saturday check in at 8 to 8:30 am, Sunday check in 9 to 9:30 am, play to 6 pm

Site: New London, CT at Ocean Beach Park

Divisions:         Sat: MO, MAA ($200), MA, MB, WO, WAA ($200), WA, WB. (Open division prize money listed on Upcoming Events page)

Sun: CO, CA, CB, Junior doubles (for boys and girls 18 & under and 15 & under will be held at Aug. 12 tournament)

Notes: Divisions with less than 8 teams may be merged with other divisions at tournament director’s discretion; merged divisions will still have playoff for Championship Pool Pts. pts.

Prizes awarded to top 4 teams in each division (3 teams in divisions with less than 8 teams)

MO, MAA, MA, MB, WO, WAA, WA all receive EEVB Grand Prix Pts.

 

Format:   Pool play, followed by single elimination playoffs

Fees:    NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED ON BEACH

$60 All teams

Men’s & Women’s Open $100 Aug. 9-10

Juniors $15/player

AVPNext Memberships:

$10/player if done online

$15 if done at the beach

Required of all players

Membership covers 1 calendar year from 1/1 to 12/31, AVPNext online registration

 

Tournament Day Procedures

Directions: I-95 exit #82 A from south or from north exit 83 to Colman St (Rt. 1) exit. Head south on Colman St. until end. Make left, then right onto Ocean Ave. make right on Pequot Ave, straight into park. From Ferry: leave ferry straight cross tracks up Gov. Winthrop Blvd. Make left at 1st light onto Eugene O'Neill Dr. Go to end, make left and then quick right onto Bank St. Go 1/2 mile & make left onto Ocean Ave. make right on Pequot Ave, straight into park. (For a map go to Yahoo-Maps and enter the following address: 1225 Ocean Ave, New London CT 06320. Parking is $10/car. Please car pool to save money.

Saturday Night Players’ Party: TBA
